It's been a long time since I've uploaded anything, though I have had many ideas. I've been through a lot lately. I actually bought a used iMac to start doing this again last year, and a week later my neighbor broke it when she was drunk along with my mic. I have a gaming headset, so I may give that a shot with a technique that LTT put up recently on youtube about a Mac VM that could work.

I have had a track I've wanted to record that the lyrics have been ready for almost 6 years now, I've just lacked sufficient motivation to get back in to doing this. It certainly isn't very rewarding monetarily, yet I know that it does touch some people.

The most creative times in my life has always been when I wasn't distracted by constant work--for the most part. On one occaision, work made me angry enough that I wrote a few bars about how much I hated it, but 99% of the time I just want to go home and veg and have a drink. My drinking has continued still and since my last upload I've had maybe 4 weeks of sober nights only because I ran out of money for the liquor store. I tend to spend my time gaming, usually by myself with the exception of some group activities, while listening to the news on another screen.

I could have ripped on Trump or Clinton equally back in 2016, but what would have been the point? From a policy perspective, they're both more or less the same as Obama and Bush on a global good/bad scale. And monetarily my life isn't as bad as it used to be when I was at fast food, now I'm in IT where I should have been to start with. I suppose that now the case is such that I have to find better motivation, because the old motivators don't have quite the same sting as they used to on my psyche. I've been through a lot and sure I could write quite a bit about my past, but honestly my published lyrics have always had a goal in mind, as muddled as it may have been by circumstance and bias.

I suppose my point is that I may not ever upload another track to youtube or newgrounds, and I might do one next week--but don't count on either.

If you can help me at all with my recordings to make them sound cleaner, I would definitely appreciate it.  I live in a small efficiency apartment(hence the bad echo) and don't make enough money to pay for legit studio time, but I do have legit equipment.  I run off a Macbook and a Behringer C-3 mic with a Xenyx302 USB mixer board using Logic Pro.  Since they updated Logic, all my settings are gone and all the buttons moved around, I don't even know where the autopunch button is anymore!  I have not been too happy with Apple lately but it's the only software I can reasonably understand that can put out relatively high quality.  GarageBand just doesn't cut it with the junky compressor it has.

So give my latest track a listen and if you have any advice please send me a private message.  I can't make an album until I can get my production under control and sounding reasonably well and undistorted.

I have a very relevant real-world message that has to be sent with my music, and I need help to accomplish this goal.

Working on an album thinking about calling it "A Big Picture". So far I have 6 tracks for it with more in the works.

It pissed me off a long time ago so I quit using it. Maybe someday when I'm in the mood I'll fix it up differently and try again but for now, fuck it. You can keep up with me on youtube and newgrounds. Since I finally got a damn job and apartment I'll be able to put out content again very soon, and with much higher quality then the little experiments and demos I've put out so far.

Hi all! I didn't want to change my first post because it's from 2007 and was so funny, still makes me laugh. But I figured it's beyond time for an update.

As you can see from my uploads, I've been making raps. As you can also see...I've stopped uploading. My macbook air died(RIP MACBOOK!) and Apple wants $1350 to repair a $1000 computer that I bought brand new less then a year before it died. It was even under warranty! And this is coming from a corporation that has $100 billion in cash just laying around that they aren't doing anything with(more then what the US Treasury has) and they won't even bring it back to the states....guess why? They'd have to pay a 35% corporate tax on it, while we got this Romney guy paying what 13%? Meanwhile the rest of us peasants pay 40% or more and get v& if we don't pay it. Anyway....never buying another Apple.

tl;dr for above: No viable computer to make more music.

That doesn't stop me from writing more tracks though. As of today, I have 3 completed tracks written to beats by T-Free(one of the best artists on NG) and more that are unfinished, but without a microphone or viable computer to edit them on, I'm pretty much stuck for now. So unless I get a lucky donation(doubtful and not requesting them) I have to wait till I build my new computer or can use a friend's computer. If anybody in Oklahoma has a studio-ish setup that I can use, shoot me a message and maybe we can work something out.

I don't think I'll be making any more flash videos. The two I made and the others I didn't finish were really just experiments to learn the software and while fun, it ended up being more of a pain in the ass then it was worth. That, and I would have had to start drawing on a pad to really do what I wanted to and those aren't cheap. I've been writing lyrics for quite a while though, 10+ years. So I'm gonna do what I'm good at, know what I mean? Which is writing. I'm still learning the nuances of rapping my stuff but I expect that with the more experience I have, the current 184 subscribers I have on YouTube will be dwarfed more and more.
